Samuel Alamillo LIVES and LOVES Latin music.  Sam is a professional drummer from Seattle, WA. Throughout his career, Sam has performed with many talented musicians including Tito Puente, Steve Guasch, Carlos Cascante and the Morales-Matos family. He has also toured with his band Nueva Era, a beloved Salsa band known for its high energy and musicianship.

Before his professional years, he studied at Indiana University and played Latin Jazz under the direction of Mariano Morales and Dr. David Baker. He continues to hone his craft studying with Grammy nominated Paolo Mejias and Cuban All-Stars drummer, Calixto Oviedo.
