Matthew Rullo

Matt RulloMatthew Rullo is a NYC based recording artist and session drummer.  He currently plays in Brooklyn based rock/ pop/ soul group Eytan & The Embassy as well as UK based original rock group Eddie The Gun.  When he’s not touring with his own bands, he’s living life in the studio and on the road as a session musician.

Not only did Matthew grow up listening to his dad play drums, but he was greatly influenced by the music of his parents' times and greats such as John Bonham, Mitch Mitchell, Ringo Starr and Charlie Watts.

Matthew started drumming at the age of 8. His eclectic taste in music and his love for drumming got him heavily involved in the NYC music scene at a fairly young age. This opened the door for him to play many different styles of music with some truly talented musicians.

Matt is a sound purest and favors the rich tone of vintage drums. His arsenal is lined with classic names like Rogers, Ludwig, Leedy and of course, Dream Cymbals to match.

You can check out Matt on tour with Eytan & The Embassy opening for OK Go this fall. You can also catch him this summer on the Vans Warped Tour with Eddie The Gun.
