February 23, 2010 - Dream Cymbals announce partnership with SoCal Dream!

SoCal Dream Drum and Bugle Corps are pleased to announce an endorsement agreement with Dream Cymbals & Gongs ("Dream"). Under the terms of the agreement, Dream will be the exclusive supplier of the cymbals & gongs for the corps. The new line of equipment will make its debut for the 2010 season.

"We are thrilled with our new relationship with Dream, it was a match made in heaven and appreciate the support the company has afforded us in outfitting our percussion section," says Corp Director Michael Nash, "The new cymbals are amazing." NAMM was crazy! There was so much buzz and activity around our booth that we didn't even have time to catch our breath. Everyone was really excited to demo our product lines, especially the new Pang chinas and Dark Matter ride cymbals. Many were also happy to meet and watch some of the Dream artist roster come by the booth to play some of their favorite cymbals.

To everyone at the show - it was our pleasure meeting you. If you didn't go, we hope to see you at Summer NAMM or next year in California. TorQ - a percussion quartet from Toronto, Canada is shown performing one of their works on Dream Cymbals at a recent cymbal tasting tour.  The group has recently released a self-titled album on Bedoint Records. September 23, 2009 - Dream Artists Perform at Tiger Bill's DrumBeat Festival 2009

Dream Cymbals & Gongs is proud to announce that Wes Crawford and Scott Pellegrom will be performing at Tiger Bill’s DrumBeat Festival alongside a handful of select drummers.

Wes Crawford (shown) is a major influence in the east coast having performed on the same stages as Ray Charles, Freddie Jackson and Joan Jett among many others. Wes is also the director of the “Drumset and Percussion Camp” at Goucher College (Baltimore, MD). He has released two drumming DVDs and is constantly in studio with internationally acclaimed artists. 

Scott Pellegrom is a recording artist, live performer, studio musician and clinician. He has performed with Deric Watson (Victor Wooten Band), Adam Deitch (Jon Scofield), Erik Hargrove (James Brown) and Mark Schulman (Velvet Revolver/Cher). Scott is a member of the Percussive Arts Society, the director of percussion at Spring Lake High School and currently gearing up for a Dream Clinic Tour. 

Both Wes and Scott play Dream cymbals exclusively and will showcase their talents and cymbal selection at the festival.

September 14, 2009 - Dream Artists Nominated for MTV Video Music Awards!

We just wanted to say congratulations to Kevin Lamar (left on drums), Asher Roth (left), Adam Halferty and 3OH!3 for being nominated for Best New Artist at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards.

Kevin/Adam are drummers to be watched and Asher/3OH!3 both had big break out years with chart topping hits and sold out tours.

 Be on the look out for them all in 2010!

July 27, 2009 - DREAM @ Warped Tour 2009!

The Van's Warped Tour is one of the biggest summer tours and has been so for the past 15 years! Van's is celebrating the 15th birthday by featuring some of the most legendary punk, metal, hardcore and pop bands as well as the world's best up and coming bands.

However, the word about DREAM spread like wild fire this year and a lot of drummers decided to incorporate DREAM cymbals into their current set up.

Who was playing DREAM this year? Adam Halferty of 3OH3! May 23-24, 2009 - Cape Brenton Drum Festival

May 4, 2009 – DREAM Cymbals & Gongs @ Cape Breton International Drum Festival.

DREAM is excited to announce we will be attending the 2009 Cape Breton International Drum Festival on May 23rd and 24th in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia.

March 1, 2009 - Rick Latham signs with Dream Cymbals!

Dream Cymbals is proud to announce that Rick Latham has signed an exclusive deal with us!  He is internationally acclaimed and is currently playing inLos Angeles sessions and touring.
