Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Champ Hammett has been playing drums for over 14 years.  Champ has spent the last nine years touring extensively.  He has toured the US countless times and also played shows in Europe, Southeast Asia, Australia, China, Greece, Finland, and Russia.  After releasing two EPs on other labels, his band Foundation, will be releasing a full length LP on Bridge 9 Records this April.   Foundation was named one of the "Top 100 Bands You Need to Know About in 2011" by Alternative Press magazine.
